What is a Neuromas?

Neuromas can be defined as an unusual growth of nerve tissue existing between the third and fourth toes. One can obtain neuroma pain relief from massaging the affected area. This pain is similar to the pain experienced when there is a stone your shoe.
Although the exact cause for neuromas is unclear, a number of factors can contribute to the formation of a neuroma. In addition, repeated stress, common to many occupations, can create or aggravate a neuroma.

Generally, you can go back to work in a day or two following surgery. For example, you can have the procedure on Thursday, allowing you to go back to work on Monday.
