Dr. Mary Sandoval is a native Houstonian and second generation graduate of the University of Houston. In 1987 she received her podiatry degree from the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine and completed her residency at Los Angeles County University of Southern California.
After her residency, Dr. Sandoval re-located back to Houston where she was employed by Memorial Foot Specialists. In 1990, Dr. Sandoval decided to open her own private practice in Spring Branch and specialized in wound care, diabetic foot care and hyperbaric medicine. While working at her own practice, she joined the staff at Houston’s first wound care center where she served as Chief of Podiatry.
Dr. Sandoval has been a wound and ulcer care specialist for more than 20 years and was one of three original staff physicians at the wound care center. After her residency, Dr. Sandoval re-located back to Houston where she was employed by Memorial Foot Specialists. Dr. Sandoval is delighted to join the team at Your Total Foot Care Specialist. She will be specializing in diabetic foot care, ulcer and wound care, and any type of foot pain at our Katy and Cypress offices.
