Education & Training
Dr. Williams’ foundation in medicine began with a rigorous scientific education. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and Biochemistry from Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana — a program that laid the groundwork for her evidence-based approach to clinical care.
She went on to earn her Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine (D.P.M.) from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine, one of the most respected podiatric medical schools in the country. Following graduation, Dr. Williams completed a three-year podiatry residency at St. Vincent’s Hospital in New York City, where she received intensive hands-on training in the diagnosis and treatment of a broad spectrum of foot and ankle conditions.
This combination of strong academic preparation and comprehensive clinical training gives Dr. Williams the depth of knowledge and procedural skill to address conditions ranging from common nail and skin issues to complex biomechanical and musculoskeletal concerns.
Board Certification & Licensure
Dr. Williams is board-certified by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine (ABPM) — a credential that reflects her mastery of podiatric medical and surgical knowledge and her ongoing commitment to the highest standards of patient care.
She holds an active podiatric license in the state of Texas and is fully authorized to practice at the Katy and Cypress offices of Your Total Foot Care Specialist.
Clinical Experience
Dr. Williams has built a career defined by versatility and a genuine dedication to meeting patients wherever they are — both literally and figuratively. Over the course of her career, she has practiced in private podiatric offices, multispecialty group settings, walk-in care clinics, and mobile podiatry environments serving patients with limited access to traditional office-based care.
This breadth of experience has made Dr. Williams a skilled and adaptive clinician who is equally comfortable working with pediatric patients, active adults, older adults, and individuals managing complex chronic conditions such as diabetes. Patients can expect a thorough evaluation, a clear explanation of their diagnosis, and a personalized treatment plan built around their specific needs and lifestyle.
Areas of her clinical focus include, but are not limited to:
- Ingrown toenail evaluation and treatment, including permanent nail correction
- Fungal toenail infections and nail disorders
- Plantar fasciitis and heel pain management
- Custom orthotic fitting and biomechanical evaluation
- Diabetic foot care and preventive monitoring
