The doctor Maria Sandoval and all her assistants were really awesome. Maria probably spent 30-40 minutes with me to... completely evaluate my foot problems and to propose a solution to correct it. They took multiple x-rays and the issues in the x-rays were fully explained by the doctor. She immediately recognized the causes when I gave a little history and pointed out my areas of pain. Dr. Jacobs did a bunionectomy nearly 20 years ago on my left big toe. This time I just needed him to shave off a... callous on my right toe. He was very gentle and thorough. He provided some cushioning material for both big toes. They also took X-Rays of both feet. They accepted my Medicare. The front desk ladies were friendly and very competent. The physician assistant who reviewed my symptoms and did the X-Rays was nice and professional as well. The office was new, and was spacious, clean and very comfortable.read more

Dr. Gomez did amazing on my son's ingrown toenail. I've checked on it and it is growing in beautifully as if it never happened. He was immediately walking although he sat out of his Athletics that week.

Great place for any foot issues. Doctors and staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Office is clean and we'll staffed. Procedures are performed with care and the doctors /assistantss to keep pain and discomfort to a minimum.

I had an in ingrown toenail that was very infected. I called Total foot care and explain how I had been suffering with this issue for 2 months and that I have seen two doctors previously and neither of them could cure it. Total foot care was very understanding and gave me a same day appointment . Dr. Shams was amazing. He explained exactly what he was going to do. The procedure itself took about 10 minutes to do. I was told I would experience some discomfort once the anaesthesia wore off and could just take some Ibuprofen the next day, but during the night, I woke up several times in A LOT of pain. All was a great experience except not providing me with pain medication.

I am totally amazed!! I scheduled a surgery for this week with another doctor back in October. The doctor is in my insurance network, however, the surgery center waited until 2 days before the surgery to let me know they are not in my network! Not only am I in pain, but I’ve met my deductible and out of pocket for the year, which meant I have a week to find someone who will not only be willing to squeeze me in for a consult, but be able to perform the surgery. I called Dr. Jacobs’ office and they bent over backwards to help me. I was able to go right over for a consult and within 2 hours of leaving, Kim had my surgery scheduled for Friday! From the first phone call, the checkin process to the exam and scheduling it could not have been any more pleasant nor could anyone there have been more kind and helpful. I was not looking forward to meeting a new doctor, but I loved the professionalism and knowledge of Dr. Jacobs as well. I would HIGHLY recommend Dr. Jacobs and his staff. A blessing to me for sure!

Caution-- Dr. Jacobs and Assoc. have ownership interests in NRIP Katy as well as Park 10 Surgical Center. You will be given an ABI test (Ankle Brachial Index), in my case both ankle indexes were above 1.4 . Jacobs told me that I was at risk and quickly handed me a brochure for NRIP and told me that I needed to get further testing prior to being cleared for surgery. That was interesting because according to Johns Hopkins Hospital: "If the ABI is less than 0.9, it may mean that a person is at risk for peripheral artery disease". This was confirmed by an orthopedic surgeon who did a through exam of my feet and explained that i needed a much more complex surgery due to skeletal problems which the podiatrist did not detect despite viewing similar x-rays. Very disappointing, it appears to me that this clinic is playing the 'let's maximize the insurance payments' game instead of looking after the patients best interest.

Whenever I have a foot problem I call for Dr. Jacobs. I have always gotten an appointment easily. Dr Jacobs & his staff are all very friendly & helpful. So even if you have to have an ingrown toenail fixed,you still leave smiling as the doc is great and the staff are so friendly. Will always call them for any foot problems.
